You may have been poke by someone on Facebook or wondered what it is to poke someone, A poke could be sweet, unimpressive, or creepy it is entirely up to you.

This is used for inviting People to Be Your Friend, once you have found someone you would want to be friends with on Facebook, click the “Add as Friend” button you see to the right of the person’s profile picture.
You can alternatively click the person’s name or picture to read a bit more about her and then, at the top of the potential friend’s profile page, click the “Add as Friend” button. If you don’t find the person you’re looking for, you can invite him/her to join Facebook (Finding People Who Aren’t Facebook Members).

As a long time Facebook user, leaving the ‘Add Friend’ option open to everyone may cram your Facebook profile with several friend requests from various unknown Facebook users.You can avoid this situation by hiding the ‘Add Friend’ button from others. When you do so, the ‘Add Friend’ button becomes available only to the people with whom you have mutual friends.

Facebook "Like" button is a feature that allows Facebook users show their support/appreciation for specific comments, pictures, wall posts, statuses, or fan pages, without the need for a written comment.
After a user "likes" something, their news feed is updated, this allows their friends, know what pages they "like." Facebook has also enabled websites add "like" buttons directly to their sites. If a user clicks a "like" button on a web page, their news feed will be updated with a link to the web page
Mobile - Tap and hold Like until a menu with reactions pops up, then tap the reaction you want to use.
Desktop - Hover your mouse over Like until a menu with reactions pops up above the Like button, then click the reaction you want to use.
